Introduction: Hydatid disease, caused by the larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus, is a significant zoonotic infection predominantly affecting the liver and lungs. While hydatid cysts are commonly found in internal organs, cases in the axillary region are rare.
Presentation Of Case: We report a unique case of a 52-year-old female patient presenting with a painless left axillary swelling for two years.
The literature presents great challenge in comparing the arthroscopic wafer procedure (AWP) versus ulnar shortening osteotomy (USO) in the treatment of ulnar impaction syndrome (UIS). We aimed primarily to compare the clinical and functional outcomes of AWP with triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) debridement versus USO in the management of UIS. The study was conducted as a randomized clinical trial including 43 patients with UIS whose ulna variance was less than 4 mm.

However, needles generally require training, sharps management and disposal, and pose challenges for autonomous ingestible systems. Here, inspired by the jetting systems of cephalopods, we have developed and evaluated microjet delivery systems that can deliver jets in axial and radial directions into tissue, making them suitable for tubular and globular segments of the gastrointestinal tract.
