- Although the TALK score wasn't effective in predicting who would maintain larynx preservation over three years, it accurately forecasted overall survival and laryngectomy-free survival, assisting clinicians in determining treatment paths for patients.

Background: The high injury rate in football has highlighted the need to research strategies that allow the modification of the dynamic risk factors. Most of the preventive proposals have focused on standardized protocols. Materials And Methods: We carried out a retrospective analysis of 316 consecutive glottic carcinomas (Tis-T3). Presence of granulation tissue at one and six months was correlated with demographic and clinical data, tumour and surgical characteristics, and tumour relapse.
Lepechinia caulescens is a plant employed by the Purepecha (a Mexican ethnic group) to treat infectious gastrointestinal ailments. The essential oil of this species was active against some strains of Vibrio cholerae with 4 microl/ml MIC and 6 microl/ml MBC. The major components of the oil found by GC-MS were borneol, camphor and trans-caryophyllene.
