Purpose: To examine changes in health-related quality of life (HRQOL), this 2-year follow-up study reassessed the HRQOL of transgender and gender expansive (TG/GE) young people enrolled in a patient registry at the Gender Wellness Center (GWC) in upstate New York.

Methods: Registry patients had to have a gender-affirming care follow-up visit at the GWC within a 2 year window (+6 months) of their baseline survey to complete follow-up. Youth <18 years of age completed the Child Health Questionnaire-Child Form 87 (CHQ-CF87); youth >18 years of age completed the Short Form-36v2 (SF-36v2).

We are looking at an aggregation of matter into granules. Diffusion plays a pivotal role here. When going down to the nanometer scale (the so-called nanoscale quantum-size effect limit), quantum mechanics, and the Heisenberg uncertainty relation, may take over the role of classical diffusion, as viewed typically in the mesoscopic/stochastic limit.

Objective: Understanding the challenges public health workers have faced is critical to reinforcing, revitalizing, and strengthening the public health workforce. We measured and identified the level and causes of psychological distress among public health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York State.

Methods: We used a knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors survey to ask public health workers at local health departments about their experiences working in public health during the pandemic, including questions relating to harassment from the public, workload, and work/life balance.

This commentary tackles the subtle at-the-edge problem of passing locally by a mesoscopic matter-aggregating system from a classical stochastic to a quantum stochastic description. A -dimensional entropy-productive aggregation of the matter is taken as the starting point. Then, a dimensional reduction towards a one-dimensional quantum-wire type matter-aggregation system is proposed, resulting in postponing surface-tension conditions for the effectively = 1-dimensional quantum-wire type or nanorod-like cluster/polycrystal, which is qualitatively consistent with a physical-metallurgical (high-temperature) Louat's grain growth model.
