We present the complete chloroplast genome of the eelgrass from Monterey, California. The genome is circular and 144,675  bp in length. It consists of 82 protein-coding, 31 transfer RNA, and 8 ribosomal RNA genes and is 99.

[The decline of analog radiological collection].

Throughout the 20th century, radiographs and fluoroscopies became essential elements to complete clinical evaluation. Images of the most relevant cases, together with their clinical records, were stored in the radiological collections of the hospitals. Over time, the need for physical space due to the emergence of new equipment, together with the digitization of radiographs and their digital storage, put an end to the collections, many of which were lost in a corner of modern X-ray services.

Extended Platelet-Rich Fibrin as a Membrane for Lateral Window Sinus Lifts: A Case Series.

Introduction: Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is being increasingly utilized in surgical procedures due to various improvements in clinical outcomes. More recently, a heating process to denature albumin in the platelet poor plasma (PPP) layer has been shown to extend the resorption time of PRF from a typical 2-week period to 4-6 months. Because of its > 4 month resorption properties, extended PRF (e-PRF) membranes have been used in dentistry as an alternative to collagen membranes in alveolar ridge preservations, ridge augmentations, soft tissue grafting, and as a barrier membrane in lateral sinus grafting procedures.

Contemporary clinical conversations about stuttering: Does the cause of stuttering matter to clinicians?

Purpose: To discuss whether stuttering causality matters to clinicians during clinical practice, and how and why it might matter. Additionally, to provide early-career clinicians and students with entry-level assistance with this complex topic.
