Background And Aim: Cattle are the main source of meat in Benin. To improve the attitudes and practices of cattle breeders in relation to bovine brucellosis, a study has been carried out in Benin according to different agroecological zones. This study aimed to assess farmers' knowledge and practices concerning bovine brucellosis to generate essential information for control programs and public health interventions.

A new Topp-Leone Kumaraswamy Marshall-Olkin generated family of distributions with applications.

We aim in this paper to propose a novel class of distributions that was created by merging the Topp-Leone distribution and the Generated families of Kumaraswamy and Marshall-Olkin. Its cumulative distribution function characterizes it and includes rational and polynomial functions. In particular, the following desirable properties of the new family are presented: Shannon entropy, order statistics, the quantile power series, and several associated measures and functions.

In almost half of the cases, paroxysmal or chronic atrial fibrillation occurs during the evolution of mitral stenosis, thereby exposing to an increased risk of thrombo-embolic events.

Mathematical modeling and machine learning for public health decision-making: the case of breast cancer in Benin.

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. Its mortality rate is high due to late detection and cardiotoxic effects of chemotherapy. In this work, we used the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method to classify tumors and proposed a new mathematical model of the patient dynamics of the breast cancer population.
