Objective: The Global Emergency Medicine Literature Review (GEMLR) highlights the highest-quality research addressing emergency care in resource-limited settings (ECRLS). This 18th edition reviews global emergency medicine (GEM) literature published during 2023.
Methods: A scoping review of GEM articles published in 2023 was performed using a systematic PubMed search and manual gray literature (GRAY) search.
Benzodiazepines are a class of drug extensively used in palliative care. Their use has predominantly been studied within a biomedical framework. Our study instead focused on the sociocultural aspects of benzodiazepine practices.

These approaches are underpinned by the scaling factors: microsomal protein per gram (MPPG) and cytosolic protein per gram (CPPG). In addition, IVIVE-PBPK has significant application in the reduction and refinement of live animal models in research.
