Background: The centralization of decision-making power in the public health care system has a negative impact on the practice of professionals and the quality of home care services (HCS) for seniors. To improve HCS, decentralized management could be a particularly promising approach. To be effective, strategies designed to incorporate this management approach require attention to 3 elements: autonomy of local stakeholders, individual and organizational capacities, and accountability for actions and decisions.

However, nitrite can also be toxic in excessive concentrations. As such, the development of quick, sensitive, and portable assays for its measurement is desirable.

In patients with systemic atherosclerosis, a significant reduction of stroke risk with no increase in intracranial or fatal hemorrhage was seen when rivaroxaban 2.5 mg twice daily was added to aspirin.

As a highly sensitive and selective analytical technique, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is promising for detecting ROS in real-time, enabling in situ monitoring of ROS-involved electrochemical and biochemical events with exceptional resolution.

However, in most cases, the specificity and affinity of the B cell antigen receptor cannot be inferred from its sequence. Antibody cloning and expression from single B cells is then required for functional assays.
