The objective of this study was to examine pre- and postnatal development of the kidney in vasopressin-deficient Brattleboro rats in comparison as compared to that in Wistar rats. Histological, histochemical and morphometric methods at light microscopic level were used. The study included 50 fetuses at gestational days 16 and 18, and 46 rat pups at postnatal days 5, 10, 20, and 30.

Clinical efficacy of Ronem preparation was studied in injured persons, suffering deep burns. High efficacy of the preparation in an acute period of the burn disease was established concerning the reduction in severity of the syndrome of systemic inflammatory answer clinical signs, the infection complications prophylaxis, microbal sensibilization lowering and preservation of natural detoxication systems on subcompensation level.

In 20 children with severe and extremely severe burns since the 3-4th day the enterosorption in the treatment complex was applied. The enterosorbents application have promoted the intoxication severity lowering, the decrease of the damaging action of blood formed elements on the erythrocytes of their own, the lowering of plasma toxic properties, rosette level in peripheral blood. On the 16-18th day after injury the red blood indexes have normalized, allowing to prepare the patients to the operative treatment.
