Many-body-localized discrete time crystal with a programmable spin-based quantum simulator.

The discrete time crystal (DTC) is a nonequilibrium phase of matter that spontaneously breaks time-translation symmetry. Disorder-induced many-body localization can stabilize the DTC phase by breaking ergodicity and preventing thermalization. Here, we observe the hallmark signatures of the many-body–localized DTC using a quantum simulation platform based on individually controllable carbon-13 nuclear spins in diamond.

Expression of Cytokines Interleukin-2, Interleukin-4, Interleukin-10 and Transforming Growth Factor β in Gastric Adenocarcinoma Biopsies Obtained from Mexican Patients.

Objective: In this study, expression of Interleukin-2, Interleukin-4, Interleukin-10 and transforming growth factor beta in diffuse and intestinal type gastric cancers from Mexican patients was assessed for use as markers of malignancy. Methods: A total of 30 biopsies from gastric adenocarcinomas, 60% diffuse, 20% intestinal and 20% mixed in type, were studied by immunohistochemistry. Mentorship in physical medicine and rehabilitation residencies.

Mentorship is considered by many authorities as being possibly the most important developmental tool for the progression of a professional in training. In recent years, progressively increasing support of mentoring programs has been documented, especially in business, academia, and overall career development. Despite its recognized importance, there is a paucity of literature examining the needs of physicians in residency training programs in regard to mentorship.

Single blind study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of naproxen gel compared with diclophenac emulgel in the treatment of soft tissue injuries.

Sixty four adult patients of both genders with injuries such as contusions and sprains were studied. Of these, 34 were treated with 10% naproxen gel and 30 with 1% dichlophenaco gel topically given for 4 days. Various pain modalities, edema and functional alterations of areas involved were studied.
