[Carcinosarcomas of the common bile duct: a case report].

Carcinosarcomas of the bile ducts are very rare tumors. Their diagnosis and management remain difficult. We here report the case of a patient in whom the diagnosis was suspected due to cholestatic jaundice associated with a deterioration in general condition.

A potential new drug to treat SARS-CoV-2 infections and chloroquine analogue, 5-((1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl)quinolin-8-ol () has been here synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, H-NMR, C-NMR, ultraviolet-visible, ESI-MS and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. was optimized in gas phase, aqueous and DMSO solutions using hybrid B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) method. Comparisons between experimental and theoretical infrared spectra, H and C NMR chemical shifts and electronic spectrum in DMSO solution evidence good concordances.

Spontaneous splenic rupture: case report and review of literature.

Splenic rupture is a potentially life-threatening condition, often associated with chest or abdominal trauma. Spontaneous rupture is very rare and is usually reported as being secondary to underlying pathological conditions. We report a case of atraumatic splenic rupture in a patient with no underlying disease pathology.
