Anthracyclines are chemotherapeutic drugs that are widely used in the treatment of cancers such as lung and ovarian cancers. The simultaneous determination of the anthracyclines, daunorubicin, doxorubicin and epirubicin, was achieved using CE coupled to LIF, with an excitation and emission wavelength of 488 and 560 nm, respectively. Using a borate buffer (105 mM, pH 9.

RHA1 (RHA1) is a potent polychlorinated biphenyl-degrading soil actinomycete that catabolizes a wide range of compounds and represents a genus of considerable industrial interest. RHA1 has one of the largest bacterial genomes sequenced to date, comprising 9,702,737 bp (67% G+C) arranged in a linear chromosome and three linear plasmids.

These features can be used for quantitative analysis. Partial least squares (PLS) regression was used to analyze NIR spectra of lysozyme with the leave-one-out, full cross-validation method.

Domestic cats and dogs with lymphoblastic disease were treated with prednisone, 2 mg/kg/day, for 14 days, and the outcome of therapy was correlated with DEAE chromatograms of glucocorticoid binders, using 3H-triamcinolone as ligand. Six of 30 animals had a single-peak low-salt binder species, similar to that seen in a subset of human leukemia, and none of these responded.
