The ventromedial prefrontal cortex is widely linked with emotional phenomena, including appraisal, modulation, and reward processing. Its perigenual part is suggested to mediate the appetitive value of stimulation. In our previous study, besides changes in evoked MEG responses, we were able to induce an apparent behavioral bias toward more positive valence while interpreting the ambiguous, morphed faces after the effect of excitatory tDCS stimulation of the perigenual ventromedial cortex (pgVM).

Core-collapse supernovae are explosions of massive stars at the end of their evolution. They are responsible for metal production and for halting star formation, having a significant impact on galaxy evolution. A new method for the determination of cadherin 12 (CDH12)-an adhesive protein that has a significant impact on the development, growth, and movement of cancer cells-was developed and validated. The method is based on a biosensor using surface plasmon resonance imaging (SPRi) detection. A quartz crystal microbalance was used to analyze the characteristics of the formation of successive layers of the biosensor, from the linker monolayer to the final capture of CDH12 from solution.
