The paucity of scientifically rigorous school nursing clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) presents barriers to evidence-based care of students with special health-care needs. A (School Nursing CPG Model) was developed under the auspices of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) to address this need. To test and validate this School Nursing CPG Model, a trial CPG development project was conducted to (1) identify structure and process gaps and areas for improvement within the School Nursing CPG Model and (2) develop an evidence-based CPG for school nursing practice that addresses a priority student health condition: seizures and epilepsy.

School nurses contend with a variety of challenges related to collecting and using their own data. Seemingly small steps can be taken to overcome these challenges, which will result in significant improvements in data collection and use. Improving the quality of data collection assists school nurses to identify and define practice issues and guide implementation of evidence-based practice within their schools and districts.

Therapeutic effects of TMZ treatment were evaluated in 31 patients with atrio-cochlear disorders caused by an insufficiency of cerebral circulation. It was found that the results of vestibular or cochlear disorders remission was dependent on the time interval between the onset of symptoms and the beginning of trimetazidine therapy. The best results were also found in patients suffering from atrio-cochlear disorders lasting not longer than two years and due to arterial hypertension or cerebral basilar artery insufficiency.

The authors described a case of giant size tumor of the submental region in a 53 year old patient. The very large tumor (fig. 1, 2, 3) was treated by total extirpation.
