Different Correlation Patterns Between Circulating Amino Acids and Body Temperature in Fibromyalgia Syndrome: A Cross-Sectional Study.

The aim of this study was to analyze the association between circulating amino acids and central and peripheral body temperature in subjects with and without fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). A total of 47 patients with FMS and 59 healthy subjects were included in the study. The concentration of amino acids was determined in serum samples using a fluorimeter coupled with a high-performance liquid chromatography system.

Effect of menopause on circulating amino acid concentrations in women with fibromyalgia and healthy women.

Objectives: Fibromyalgia is a complex syndrome that appears more frequently during menopause. No previous studies have investigated the effect of menopause on amino acids in women with fibromyalgia. Therefore, we have examined serum amino acid concentrations in premenopausal and postmenopausal women with fibromyalgia and healthy women.

: Acute coronary syndrome (ACS), a prevalent global cardiovascular disease and leading cause of mortality, is significantly correlated with meteorological factors. This study aims to analyze the impact of short-term changes in meteorological factors on the risk of ACS, both with and without ST-segment elevation, and to identify vulnerable subgroups. : Daily ACS admissions and meteorological variables were collected from October 2016 to December 2021.
