[Ocular herpes simplex in children (author's transl)].

A series of 38 children with ocular herpes simplex infection is reported. The follow-up periods ranged between 1 and 10 years after the first ocular herpetic involvement. The primary ocular infection occurred in most cases between 2 and 6 years of age, with a similar rate in males and females.

[Ocular infection caused by adenovirus 19 (author's transl)].

A case of ocular infection due to adenovirus type 19 is reported. The patient developed a bilateral keratoconjunctivitis with preauricula nodes and a mild general malaise. The virus was isolated from both eyes; serological tests carried out on the serum of the patient were compatible with the diagnosis.
