Metastasis to the rectum is very rare and is usually caused by primaries from the breast, gastrointestinal tract, and genitourinary system. We report here a case of acute intestinal obstruction caused by an unusual rectal stenosis, for which he underwent a diversion stoma. On extensive evaluation for the etiology of the rectal stenosis, he was diagnosed with diffuse gastric cancer with Schnitzler's metastasis to the rectal submucosa.

The GI tract is a key site for extranodal lymphomas, with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) occurring in this region. This study aimed to analyze the demography, anatomic distribution, histological subtypes, and immunomorphological characteristics of all lymphomas with a primary GI presentation at a quaternary care hospital in southern India.

When combined with Fournier's gangrene, the mortality rates are higher. Here, we discuss a case of Meleney's with Fournier's gangrene managed with appropriate antibiotics and extensive wound debridement, followed by a successful split-thickness skin grafting of the lower anterior abdominal wall and scrotum.

Upon excitation by 394 nm and 464 nm, the phosphor displays a distinct red emission peaking around 614 nm, a characteristic of f-f electronic transitions involving Eu ions.Incorporating alkali metal ions such as Li, Na and K into ZnSiO:Eu phosphor led to a remarkable increase in photoluminescence (PL) intensity.

BaSO:Eu synthesized under similar conditions exhibits both Eu (375 nm) and Eu (619 nm) fluorescence. Vanadium codoping quenches the Eu fluorescence but enhances the Eu fluorescence in BaSO:V, Eu due to charge compensation.
