Background: The upfront treatment of non-oncogene-addicted NSCLC relies on immunotherapy alone (ICI) or in combination with chemotherapy (CT-ICI). Genomic aberrations such as KRAS, TP53, KEAP1, SMARCA4, or STK11 may impact survival outcomes.
Methods: We performed an observational study of 145 patients treated with first-line IO or CT-ICI for advanced non-squamous (nsq) NSCLC at our institution tested with an extensive lab-developed NGS panel.

The population of very elderly patients (aged 80 years and older) in intensive care units (ICUs) is steadily growing. These patients have unique physiological, cognitive, functional, and social characteristics that affect their entire ICU course. Immobility, delirium, dysphagia, malnutrition, and polypharmacy are among the most common geriatric syndromes in these patients, and they contribute to a higher risk of acute and long-term functional decline and mortality.

The ultrastructural features of spermatogenesis of the species and the sequence of events leading to sperm bundle formation along the deferent duct lumen revealed the origin and evolution of the apical structure protecting the sperm bundles. Elongated layers of the electron-dense material of variable size and thickness are visible over the microvilli of the distal deferent duct epithelium.
