High-entropy alloys are promising materials for novel thin-film resistors since they have high resistivity and a low-temperature coefficient of resistivity (TCR). In this work, a new high-entropy thin-film CoCrFeNiTi was deposited on a Si/SiO substrate by means of magnetron sputtering of the multi-component target produced by hot pressing of the powder mixture. The samples possessed a thickness of 130-230 nm and an amorphous atomic structure with nanocrystallite traces.

Background: Recessive forms of megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy with subcortical cysts (MLC, OMIM 604004) is a rare early-onset leukodystrophy that presents with macrocephaly, seizures, slowly progressive gross motor deterioration, and MRI evidence of diffuse symmetric white matter swelling and subcortical cysts in the anterior temporal and frontoparietal regions. Later in the disease course, significant spasticity and ataxia develop, which may be accompanied by intellectual deterioration. This disease is caused mostly by biallelic pathogenic variants in the MLC1 gene.

Background: Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect the development of movement and posture. CP results from injuries to the immature brain during the prenatal, perinatal, or postnatal stage of development. Neuroimaging research in CP has focused on the structural changes of the brain during early development, but little is known about brain's structural and functional changes during late adolescence and early adulthood, a period in time when individuals experience major changes as they transition into adulthood.
