Searching for third molars atraumatic removal method remains a challenge in oral surgery. Method of partial removal of impacted tooth leaving a non-extracted root in the wound becomes more popular recently. Determining medical indications for this method, as well as searching for standards for its implementation is important.

Objective: The aim of the study is reducing the risks of surgical injury to the inferior alveolar nerve, by taking into account individual topographic and anatomical features, improving diagnostic methods, and techniques for removing retinated teeth with a close fit to the mandibular canal.

Material And Methods: An examination was conducted in the Department of Surgical Dentistry (CBCT/OPG) and surgical treatment of 223 patients, with a close fit of the roots of the retinated lower third molar to the mandibular canal. Microslips of teeth with roots intact during removal (=96) of the main group and the control group (=52) were prepared with a Micromet Remet manual petrographic machine.

Rationale: Despite decades of implementation, the selection of optimal sample preparation conditions for matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) imaging is still ambiguous due to the lack of a universal and comprehensive evaluation methodology. Thus, numerous experiments with different matrix application conditions accompany a translation of the method to novel sample types and matrices.

Methods: Mouse brain tissues were covered with 9-aminoacridine through sublimation, followed by recrystallization in vapors of 5% (v/v) methanol solution in water.

In this study, Pt(0) microscrolls are synthesized on polished Ni galvanic replacement reaction (GRR). Employing optical microscopy, the dynamic motion of the catalytic microscrolls as micromotors in HO solutions is revealed. This method offers a rapid fabrication of scrolls from diverse noble metals and alloys.
