A Posterior Cranial Fossa Lesion Mimicking Myasthenia Gravis.

Unlabelled: A 41-year-old male with prior diagnosis of seronegative myasthenia gravis presented with complaints of bilateral ptosis, dysphagia, nasal voice and nasal regurgitation. Despite treatment with pyridostigmine, there was lack of significant improvement in the symptoms. Further investigations, including antibody assays and nerve conduction studies did not support the diagnosis.

A Pillar/Perfusion Plate Enhances Cell Growth, Reproducibility, Throughput, and User Friendliness in Dynamic 3D Cell Culture.

Static three-dimensional (3D) cell culture has been demonstrated in ultralow attachment well plates, hanging droplet plates, and microtiter well plates with hydrogels or magnetic nanoparticles. Although it is simple, reproducible, and relatively inexpensive, thus potentially used for high-throughput screening, statically cultured 3D cells often suffer from a necrotic core due to limited nutrient and oxygen diffusion and waste removal and have a limited -like tissue structure. Here, we overcome these challenges by developing a pillar/perfusion plate platform and demonstrating high-throughput, dynamic 3D cell culture.

Introduction: The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic disrupted the current practices for teaching and learning in medical and health professions education, creating challenges and opportunities for rapid transition. The authors describe how McMaster University's Program for Faculty Development (MacPFD) responded to this disruption by engaging in a digital transformation.

Methods: The digital transformation process of MacPFD was mapped to the conceptual framework of digital transformation: Vial's building blocks of the framework.
