Purpose: Graduating medical students need broad clinical diagnostic reasoning skills that integrate learning across clinical specialties to deal with undifferentiated patient problems. The opportunity to acquire these skills may be limited during clinical placements on increasingly specialized hospital wards. We developed an intervention of regular general practitioner (GP) facilitated teaching in hospital placements to enable students to develop broad clinical diagnostic reasoning.

We report the magnetic resonance (MR) findings in the liver of a patient with known Osler-Weber-Rendu disease, a rare disorder characterized by arteriovenous malformations involving multiple organ systems. To the best of our knowledge, the MR findings in liver involvement have not been previously reported.

Neuroepithelial cysts of the CNS are rare. Two cases of noncolloid neuroepithelial cysts of the thalamus are reported. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging aided in ascertaining the nature of these cysts.
