Aims: The current study aimed to validate the relationship between sensory characteristics and sleep dynamics among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using an actigraph, which is an objective assessment device used for sleep monitoring.
Methods: A total of 40 children (age range, 3-6 years) participated in this study (n = 20, with ASD and n = 20, age-matched children with typical development [TD]). We examined sleep dynamics using actigraph for 7 consecutive days, and the relationship between sleep parameters and sensory characteristics was analyzed using the Japanese Version of Sensory Profile (SP-J).
This study aims to clarify the ideal technique for running on a curved path during sprinting events. Participants were twelve male track and field athletes including long jumpers and sprinters. The participants performed a 60-m sprint with maximal effort on straight and curved paths.

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the frequency and characteristics of pain and its treatment in ALS patients.
Design: A multicenter cross-sectional study.
We herein investigated, using a corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) agonist and antagonists, whether CRF plays a role in the pathogenesis of ischemia/reperfusion-induced small intestinal lesions in rats. Under pentobarbital anesthesia, the superior mesenteric artery was clamped (ischemia) for 75 min, followed by reperfusion with removal of the clamp. After a 24-h reperfusion, the area of hemorrhagic lesions that developed in the small intestine was measured.

Some arrhenotokous and thelytokous strains encoded the sodium channel mutation (T929I) involved in cypermethrin resistance. However, the resistance levels varied to some degree among the strains.
