The feature of abundant and environmentally friendly heavy atoms (HAs) like bromine to accelerate spin-forbidden transitions in organic molecules has been known for years. In combination with the easiness of incorporation, bromine derivatives of organic emitters showing thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emerge as a cheap and efficient solution for the slow reverse intersystem crossing (rISC) problem in such emitters and strong efficiency roll-off of all-organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Here, we present a comprehensive photophysical study of a emitter reported previously and its hexabromo derivative showing a remarkable enhancement of rISC of up to 9 times and a short lifetime of delayed fluorescence of 2 μs.

The purpose of this study was to explore students' perceptions of preparedness to address the public's concerns about antibiotic use and how their perceptions changed after implementing their intervention.
Methods: A questionnaire was sent twice during the 2020-2021 academic year to 920 multidisciplinary healthcare students (nursing, medicine, physiotherapy, pharmacy and midwifery students) enrolled in the HSHS in Franche-Comté (HSHS-FC).
Contextual factor use by healthcare professionals has been studied mainly among nurses and physiotherapists. Preliminary results show that healthcare professionals use contextual factors without specifically labelling them as such. The main objective of this study was to evaluate knowledge and explore voluntary contextual factor use among various healthcare professions.

How TSD modulates diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) measures of white matter (WM) microstructure, which may be linked with TSD's rapid antidepressant effects, remains uncharacterized.
Methods: Patients with depression ( = 48, mean age = 33, 26 women) completed diffusion-weighted imaging and Hamilton Depression Rating (HDRS) and rumination scales before and after >24 h of TSD.
Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique involving administration of well-tolerated electrical current to the brain through scalp electrodes. TDCS may improve symptoms in neuropsychiatric disorders, but mixed results from recent clinical trials underscore the need to demonstrate that tDCS can modulate clinically relevant brain systems over time in patients. Here, we analyzed longitudinal structural MRI data from a randomized, double-blind, parallel-design clinical trial in depression (NCT03556124, N = 59) to investigate whether serial tDCS individually targeted to the left dorso-lateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) can induce neurostructural changes.
