Vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VACNTs), a unique classification of CNT, highly oriented and normal to the respective substrate, have been heavily researched over the last two decades. Unlike randomly oriented CNT, VACNTs have demonstrated numerous advantages making it an extremely desirable nanomaterial for many biomedical applications. These advantages include better spatial uniformity, increased surface area, greater susceptibility to functionalization, improved electrocatalytic activity, faster electron transfer, higher resolution in sensing, and more.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFPurpose: Although dose-dense (dd) chemotherapy plays a fundamental role in the treatment of breast cancer (BC), a variety of trials have presented divergent survival results. Here, we present data of patients with more than 3 positive axillary lymph nodes (+aLN) receiving dd chemotherapy after a median follow-up period of 12.3 years.

Aim of this study was to analyze persistence of palliative aromatase inhibitor (AI) monotherapy in MBC patients.
Methods: EvAluate-TM is a prospective, multicenter, noninterventional study to evaluate treatment with letrozole in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
