[Teratoma strictly of the buttocks in a 13-year-old girl].

A 13-year old girl was admitted to our hospital because of an ulcerated gluteal tumor. This tumor was present since birth. A diagnostic procedure was performed.

Hemi splenectomy or partial splenectomy may appear as an opportunity for a splenic injury, to prevent further infections. Such preserved spleens are functional. Splenic conservation necessitates a transversal sub costal incision for an easy surgical treatment without splenic mobilisation.
