Between 2020 and 2021, an experimental investigation was conducted in Tropical conditions to assess the effects of varying levels of nitrogen fertilization (0 kgNha, 0.5 kgNha, 1 kgNha, 1.5 kgNha, and 2 kgNha) on the growth and yield parameters of two strawberry cultivars (Sweet Sensation and Rubygem) in a sandy loam soil.

Subclinical Hypothyroidism among Chronic Kidney Disease Patients Admitted to Nephrology Department of a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.

Introduction: Chronic kidney disease is a condition, which worsens the quality of life in many ways including thyroid disorder in many cases. The aim of the study was to find out the prevalence of subclinical hypothyroidism among chronic kidney disease patients admitted to the Nephrology Department of a tertiary care centre.

Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on the patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at a tertiary care hospital from 15 May 2022 to 10 October 2022 after getting ethical approval from the Institutional Review Committee (Reference number: 621/2022).

Dengue in western Terai region of Nepal.

Background: Dengue Fever (DF) is an emerging mosquito-borne disease. It is a nagging public health problem in the low lands of Terai, expanding to new areas of Nepal in recent years.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to determine anti-Dengue IgM positive rate in Mahendranagar, Dhangadi and Dang between August 2008 and November 2009.

Study of enteric fever and antibiogram of Salmonella isolates at a teaching hospital in Kathmandu Valley.

Enteric fever is one of the common public health problems in Nepal. This study was carried out at Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital located at peri-urban area in Kathmandu Valley to find out the prevalence of enteric fever and the sensitivity pattern of the Salmonella isolates. A total of 479 patients with fever were included in the study.
