We aimed to estimate the cost-effectiveness of HPV vaccination for women living with HIV in a Chinese setting. A decision-analysis Markov model was developed to estimate the cost-effectiveness of 36 HPV vaccination strategies for women living with HIV aged 18-45 years, from the healthcare system perspective.

Effect of Long COVID on Work Performance and Annual Monetary Loss Among Infected Health Care Workers at a Tertiary Hospital in Malaysia.

Objective: The aim of the study is to assess and compare the work performance loss (absenteeism and presenteeism) and the estimated annual monetary loss among health care workers with and without long COVID.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted between October 2022 and April 2024 using an online questionnaire. The shortened version of the Health and Work Performance Questionnaire was used to estimate the work performance effect among health care workers with a history of COVID-19 infection.

Globally, stigma and discrimination in healthcare settings have been identified as significant barriers to implementing HIV prevention and treatment strategies. However, research on interventions to reduce the stigma in healthcare facilities, particularly in Malaysia, is lacking. Hence, this study aims to bridge these gaps by implementing a globally accepted training module to reduce HIV stigma among healthcare workers (HCWs).
