The effect of Kamchatka crab hepatopancreas containing three collagenolytic isoenzymes Collagenase KK and proteinases of Streptomyces lavendulae on metabolic activity and cell death were carried out on in vitro models. It was shown that changes in the protein structure under the influence of Collagenase KK occurred earlier than under the effect of bacterial proteinases. At the same time, activity of Collagenase KK was significantly higher than that of bacterial proteinases (p<0.

Article Synopsis
  • The effectiveness of photodynamic therapy (PDT) hinges on the interaction of photosensitizers, molecular oxygen, and visible light, leading to tumor cell damage and immune activation.
  • PDT relies on the properties of photosensitizing drugs, particularly tetrapyrrole structures like porphyrins, but first-generation options faced challenges, such as skin sensitivity and poor tumor penetration.
  • Second-generation photosensitizers are being developed to improve targeted therapy through advanced synthesis techniques, including bioconjugation and drug delivery systems to enhance tumor targeting and retention.

The study describes the influence of synthetic CaSiO/HAp powder biocomposite on the process of regeneration in osseous tissue in the alveolar ridges in terms of the morphological characteristics of the osteoplastic potential. The authors investigated the osteoinduction and osteoconduction "in vivo" processes during bone tissue regeneration in the mandible defect area of an experimental animal (rabbit). The possibility of angiogenesis in the graft as an adaptation factor was studied in the process of bone tissue regeneration.
