Unravelling the Relaxation Pathway and Excited State Dynamics of Ruthenium(II) Polypyridyl Complexes Incorporating Phosphorus-Based Monodentate Ligands.

Herein, the photophysical, photochemical properties and photogenerated excited state dynamics of two new Ru(II) complexes, viz. [Ru(p-ttp)(bpy)(PTA)]2+ [1]2+, [Ru(p-ttp)(phen)(PTA)]2+ [2]2+ having a phosphorus-based ligand PTA [p-ttp = p-tolyl terpyridine; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridyl; phen = 1,10-phenthroline and PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane] are reported. Upon excitation with 470 nm LED, [1]2+ and [2]2+ neither undergo ligand release nor exhibit room temperature luminescence/1O2 generation.

Multifunctional 2D FETs exploiting incipient ferroelectricity in freestanding SrTiO nanomembranes at sub-ambient temperatures.

Incipient ferroelectricity bridges traditional dielectrics and true ferroelectrics, enabling advanced electronic and memory devices. Firstly, we report incipient ferroelectricity in freestanding SrTiO nanomembranes integrated with monolayer MoS to create multifunctional devices, demonstrating stable ferroelectric order at low temperatures for cryogenic memory devices. Our observation includes ultra-fast polarization switching (~10 ns), low switching voltage (<6 V), over 10 years of nonvolatile retention, 100,000 endurance cycles, and 32 conductance states (5-bit memory) in SrTiO-gated MoS transistors at 15 K and up to 100 K.

Management of Cesarean Scar Ectopic Pregnancies: A Retrospective Study and Literature Review.

Cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy (CSEP) is localized over the scar of a previous cesarean section. CSEP is a challenging entity, both in terms of diagnosis and management. The clinical presentation of CSEP may vary from asymptomatic patients with positive urine pregnancy tests to acute presentations such as pelvic pain, bleeding per vaginum, uterine rupture, and hemodynamic instability.

Interventional Physiatry in the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome of the Upper Limb Following Herpes Zoster.

A 44-year-old male patient experienced persistent radiating pain from the elbow to the hand following herpes zoster vesicular eruptions three months earlier. His examination met the Budapest Clinical Criteria for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), revealing sensory, motor, vasomotor, and sudomotor signs and symptoms. Despite conservative treatments, the pain persisted.
