AMX Zintl compounds, crystallizing in several closely related layered structures, have recently garnered attention due to their exciting thermoelectric properties. In this study, we show that orthorhombic CaAgSb can be alloyed with hexagonal CaAgBi to achieve a solid solution with a structural transformation at ∼ 0.8.

The world is facing challenges to reduce carbon emissions, the complex interplay between socioeconomic dynamics and environmental sustainability is of utmost importance. In the context of the BRICS nations-Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa-this study explores the intricate interactions between institutional entrepreneurship, institutional innovation, poverty reduction, social globalization, urbanization, and social entrepreneurship as well as their combined effects on the carbon footprint over the period of 1990 to 2021. This work examines the multi-dimensional interactions inside this nexus using a thorough analytical strategy that includes the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM), Three-Stage Least Squares (3SLS), and Robust regression approaches.

The main protease [3-chymotrypsin-like protease (3CL)] of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV)-1 and SARS-CoV-2 is one of the critical targets for designing and developing broad-spectrum antiviral therapeutic drugs. The main objective of this study was to investigate potential phytochemicals against SARS-CoV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 to ensure effective natural product-induced therapy.

This study aimed to determine and compare the activities of antioxidant enzymes in susceptible (wheat, maize, barley and swamp rice grass) and resistant (rice) plants when interacting with MoT. The activities of reactive oxygen species-detoxifying enzymes; catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), glutathione peroxidase (GPX), glutathione -transferase (GST), peroxidase (POX) were increased in all plants in response to MoT inoculation with a few exceptions.
