Carbon monoxide (CO) is widely recognized as a significant environmental pollutant and is associated with numerous instances of accidental poisoning in humans. However, it also serves a pivotal role as a signaling molecule in plants, exhibiting functions analogous to those of other gaseous signaling molecules, including nitric oxide (NO) and hydrogen sulfide (HS). In plant physiology, CO is synthesized as an integral component of the defense mechanism against oxidative damage, particularly under abiotic stress conditions such as drought, salinity, and exposure to heavy metals.

After 15, 30 and 60 days of exposure, increased frequencies of erythrocytic nuclear abnormalities (ENAs) were noticed. After 60 days of exposure, DNA damage was observed in liver and base excision DNA repair (BER) and mismatch DNA repair (MMR) pathways were studied to know the cellular responses.

However, living bacteria themselves may aid in their efficiency in killing the tissues. For example, living bacteria may be functionalized with magnetic and luminescent nanoparticles along with drugs in order to achieve the targeted delivery and release of payloads that would include the bacteria.

This progress is marked by the superior performance of many quantum algorithms compared with their classical counterparts, with Shor's algorithm serving as a prominent illustration. Quantum arithmetic circuits, which are the fundamental building blocks in numerous quantum algorithms, have attracted much attention.

This study was aimed to determine the association between RTA and depression among Indian population aged ≥45 years.
Methods: Using Longitudinal Aging Study in India (LASI) dataset (April 2017-December 2018), we have conducted this study among older adults (45-59 years) and elderly (≥60 years) Indians.
