Background: Cerebral palsy (CP), the most common motor disability in childhood, comprises a group of permanent non-progressive disorders affecting the antenatal, neonatal, or early postnatal development of areas in the brain responsible for posture and movement. Registries for children with CP, or surveillance programs, have been a source of consistently increasing research productivity; 38 related articles were published in 2013. In Kuwait, a CP registry would provide baseline information on children with CP and their parents.

3-dimensional (3D) printing technology provides a solution to meet the high demand for producing adult nasal swabs. A smaller, more flexible nasopharyngeal swab needs to be developed for children and infants suspected of having coronavirus. The information shared here presents a novel 3D-printed pediatric swab for the purpose of collecting upper respiratory clinical specimens.

This study aimed at the development of an analytic web-based system for the assessment of animal health in Kuwait. The data sources were based on the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the World Animal Health Information System (WAHIS) repository with data gathered for the period (2005-2020). An on-line web-based system using TABLEAU Creator was developed for monitoring and surveillance of animal disease outbreaks.
