Wolcott-Rallison Syndrome is an extremely rare syndrome characterized by infantile non-autoimmune diabetes, extensive skeletal dysplasia, and multi-organ failure requiring transplant. Prognosis is very poor, and as such, surgical intervention for symptomatic cervical spine compromise in pediatric patients has not been widely reported in part due to their high fragility. We report a complex case of Wolcott-Rallison Syndrome that presented with cervical myelopathy due to cervicomedullary compression and the exceptional surgical considerations required for successful intervention.

Background: Saphenous vein graft percutaneous coronary intervention (SVG-PCI) is a relatively common procedure in patients after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Although internal mammary artery is considered optimal, SVG is still used in the majority of patients.
Aims: Investigating the potential role of gender differences in the incidence and outcomes of SVG-PCI.
Objective: This project aimed to successfully implement the Stop the Bleed (STB) program in Guatemala by targeting key providers in various communities across the country.
Setting: The course was conducted in rural community centers, fire stations, tertiary care centers, and medical school facilities.
Participants: We included agricultural occupational health workers, firefighters, medical providers, and medical students throughout the course.
Background: Watermelon is a nutritionally and economically significant crop in the US and globally. Gummy Stem Blight (GSB), caused by three cryptic Stagonosporopsis species, is one of the most devastating diseases affecting watermelon in the US, impacting most of the plant's above-ground parts. This study aimed to identify key Quantitative Trait Variants (QTVs) that include SNPs and In/Dels associated with GSB resistance in selfed derivatives of advanced multicross interspecific derivatives population derived from intercrosses between the most resistant lines of Citrullus amarus and highly susceptible cultivars of Citrullus lanatus.
