Introduction And Importance: Paratubal cysts are common adnexal lesions that can lead to complications such as torsion, especially during pregnancy, presenting diagnostic challenges due to symptom overlap with acute surgical emergencies. This study details the clinical characteristics and management of paratubal cyst torsion through a case report and literature review.

Case Presentation: A 29-year-old pregnant woman at 28 weeks gestation presented with right iliac fossa pain and nausea.

Decoding the pathological and genomic profile of epithelial ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer (OC) is one of the most common cancers in women, with a high mortality rate. Most of published studies have been focused on Caucasian populations, with the need to explore biological features and clinical outcomes of patients from other ethnicities. We described clinical outcome (progression-free survival and overall survival) and biomarkers associated with survival in a cohort of patients with OC from Tunisia.

Almond production in Portugal is of great importance for the economy of their main producing areas. However, the contamination of these nut fruits with fungi and mycotoxins poses a significant risk to food safety and security. This work intended to evaluate the influence of storage conditions on the microbial and mycotoxin stability and safety of almonds throughout long-term storage.

Effect of relative humidity on the quality and safety of peeled almond kernels (Prunus dulcis Mill.) during simulated maritime transport/storage.

Long-term transport and storage of peeled almonds under unsuitable conditions may cause the product's rejection. To get knowledge in this topic, peeled almonds were stored at 25°C and 60, 70, and 80% relative humidity (RH). The maintenance of high RH (80%) caused some visual defects after 4 months.
