Herpes zoster is an acute viral infection caused by the reactivation of the varicella zoster virus. It occurs commonly in immunocompromised adults. Odontalgia may be an early prodromal symptom when herpes zoster involves the oral and maxillofacial region, which lays significant emphasis on the role of a dentist in early diagnosis and treatment of the infection.

Methods: This is a multicenter retrospective review of 84 MOGAD cases at the University of Florida, Baylor College of Medicine, the University of California San Diego, and Providence Health and Services, Portland, Oregon, to identify cases with a documented increased opening pressure >25 cm H2O. A literature review was conducted to identify previously reported MOGAD cases with an opening pressure >25 cm H2O.
Game-based learning (GBL) has emerged as a promising approach to engage students and promote deep learning in a variety of educational settings. Neurology and neuroscience are complex fields that require an understanding of intricate neural structures and their functional roles. GBL can support the acquisition and application of such knowledge.

Purpose Of Review: B-cell depletion therapy, including anti-CD20 and anti-CD19 therapies, is increasingly used for a variety of autoimmune and conditions, including those affecting the central nervous system. However, B-cell depletion therapy use can be complicated by adverse effects associated with administration and immunosuppression. This review aims to summarize the application of anti-CD20 and anti-CD19 therapies for the pediatric neurologist and neuroimmunologist.
