Introduction: There is a paucity of information regarding providers' attitudes toward gastric-protective strategies with concurrent use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). We aimed to assess gastric-protective strategies used upon prescribing NSAIDs and providers' awareness of societal guidelines for preventing NSAID-induced gastric complications.

A promising water treatment method involves using biomass-derived activated carbon (AC) to remove emerging pollutants from wastewater due to its adsorption capacity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Notwithstanding, the existing literature lacks comprehensive studies that specifically focus on removing contaminants in water by comparing the effectiveness of adsorption and photocatalytic degradation methods. Additionally, there is not much emphasis on analyzing the combined processes of adsorption-photocatalytic degradation utilizing AC.

Melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer, characterized by a poor prognosis, and its incidence has risen rapidly over the past 30 years. Recent therapies, notably immunotherapy and targeted therapy, have significantly improved the outcome of patients with metastatic melanoma. Previously dismal five-year survival rates of below 5% have shifted to over 50% of patients surviving the five-year mark, marking a significant shift in the landscape of melanoma treatment and survival.
