Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a short-term (30 minutes) vocal loading task (VLT) on the objective and subjective parameters of voice and determine the restorative strategies of three different vocal exercises performed after the VLT.
Methods: The sample of the study included 30 normophonic women. The protocols that were applied in the study were carried out on three consecutive days.
Electrospun metal oxide-polymer nanofiber composites hold promise for revolutionizing biomedical applications due to their unique combination of electronic and material properties and tailorable functionalities. An investigation into the incorporation of Fe-based nanofillers for optimizing the polyacrylonitrile matrix was conducted, where the systematic and organized arrangement of inorganic components was achieved through non-covalent bonding. These carefully dispersed nanomaterials exhibit the intrinsic electronic characteristics of the polymers and concurrently respond to external magnetic fields.

We hypothesized that heart rate variability identifies high-risk medical patients early after admission to the hospital.
Methods: This was a single-center prospective cohort study of acutely admitted medical patients aged ≥18 years with a life expectancy ≥3 months, included between 2019-2023.
In this study, a recently reported Ti-based metallic glass (MG), without any toxic element, but with a significant amount of metalloid (Si-Ge-B, 18 atom %) and minor soft element (Sn, 2 atom %), was produced in ribbon form using conventional single-roller melt-spinning. The produced TiZrSiGeBSn ribbons were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction to confirm their amorphous structure, and their corrosion properties were further investigated by open-circuit potential and cyclic polarization tests. The ribbon's surface was functionalized by tannic acid, a natural plant-based polyphenol, to enhance its performance in terms of corrosion prevention and antimicrobial efficacy.

Case Presentation: We reported here a case of one year old boy of a strangulated umbilical hernia with perforated MD that operated at the Mogadishu hospital.
