We aimed to investigate the association between exposure settings and secondary SARS-CoV-2 transmission among university students. Students diagnosed with COVID-19 ( = 139) and randomly selected controls ( = 262) identified between April 4-December 5, 2021. This was a 1:2 case-control study.

A clinical isolate, R131, was isolated from the peritoneal swab of a patient who suffered from ruptured appendicitis with abscess and gangrene in Hong Kong in 2018. Cells are facultatively anaerobic, non-motile, Gram-positive coccobacilli. Colonies were small, grey, semi-translucent, low convex and alpha-haemolytic.

Similar parenchymal changes are observed in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). We investigated whether common genetic risk factors in IPF are associated with developing lung parenchymal abnormalities following severe COVID-19 disease.

Objectives: The objectives of this study are to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of telecare consultations in a nurse-led post-acute stroke clinic.
Methods: A pre- and post-test one group quasi-experimental design was adopted.
Network measures have proven very successful in identifying structural patterns in complex systems (, a living cell, a neural network, the Internet). How such measures can be applied to understand the rational and experimental design of chemical reaction networks (CRNs) is unknown. Here, we develop a procedure to model CRNs as a mathematical graph on which network measures and a random graph analysis can be applied.
