Objective: Various European countries noted increasing (Ng) positivity among cis-gender women and heterosexual men. We assessed changes over time in Ng among men who exclusively have sex with men (MSM), men who exclusively have sex with women (MSW), men who have sex with men and women (MSMW), women and transgender and gender diverse people (TGP).
Methods: We analysed data collected between 2018 and 2023 at the Centre for Sexual Health, Amsterdam.
Introduction: Orthostatic hypotension is common in people with Parkinson's disease (PD) due to autonomic dysfunction and medication use and can have a significant negative impact on quality of life. Pharmacological treatment is often complicated due to complex blood pressure regulation problems. This case report presents a patient whose symptoms of orthostatic intolerance were successfully treated with the non-pharmacological method of head-up tilt sleeping (HUTS).

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed tilt test records from cOH patients and age/sex-matched controls. We quantified relative effects of HR, SV and TPR on mean arterial pressure (MAP) with the log-ratio method.
Huntington's disease (HD) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease caused by a trinucleotide repeat expansion in exon 1 of the huntingtin gene (HTT) that results in toxic gain of function and cell death. Despite its monogenic cause, the pathogenesis of HD is highly complex, and increasing evidence indicates that, in addition to the full-length (FL) mutant HTT protein, the expanded exon 1 HTT (HTTexon1) protein that is translated from the HTT1a transcript generated by aberrant splicing is prone to aggregate and might contribute to HD pathology. This finding suggests that reducing the expression of HTT1a might achieve a greater therapeutic benefit than targeting only FL mutant HTT.

To improve early health-seeking behaviour, we developed an online syphilis symptom score tool for GBMSM to self-identify a higher likelihood of infectious syphilis and promoted its use via an online and offline awareness campaign.
Methods: From October 2018 through September 2019, a dedicated website on syphilis including the online symptom score tool was promoted.
