In many simple viruses and virus-like particles, the protein capsid self-assembles around a nucleic-acid genome. Although the assembly process has been studied in detail, relatively little is known about how the capsid disassembles, a potentially important step for infection (in viruses) or cargo delivery (in virus-like particles). We investigate capsid disassembly using a coarse-grained molecular dynamics model of a = 1 dodecahedral capsid and an RNA-like polymer.

An Indirect Treatment Comparison of Lenvatinib for the First-Line Treatment of Patients with Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Introduction: This study compared the relative efficacy of first-line lenvatinib, a standard-of-care treatment for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC), vs licensed/license in-progress comparators. Using inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) and network meta-analysis (NMA), updated evidence for lenvatinib monotherapy from LEAP-002, in addition to evidence from REFLECT, was included in the analyses.

Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were identified via systematic review.

Purpose: With relatively few direct comparisons among treatment options for previously treated advanced gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer, network meta-analysis (NMA) may inform evidence-based decision-making. Ramucirumab plus paclitaxel (RAM + PTX) is a preferred regimen in guideline recommendations. NMA of key outcomes may further characterize the relative clinical value of RAM + PTX.

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a complex inflammatory disease that challenges diagnosis and complicates the rational selection of effective therapies. Although T cells are considered active effectors in psoriasis and PsA, the role of CD8+ T cells in pathogenesis is not well understood. We selected the humanized mouse model NSG-SGM3 transgenic strain to examine psoriasis and PsA endotypes.
