Purpose: Few studies have examined disparities in-and social determinants of-contraception use among rural adolescents despite evidence of higher teen birth rates and greater STI risk in rural communities. Guided by a social determinants of health (SDoH) framework, this cross-sectional study aimed to address these gaps.
Methods: Data come from the 2018 Healthy Youth Survey, including N = 3757 sexually active, rural-based adolescents.
DNA breathing dynamics-transient base-pair opening and closing due to thermal fluctuations-are vital for processes like transcription, replication, and repair. Traditional models, such as the Extended Peyrard-Bishop-Dauxois (EPBD), provide insights into these dynamics but are computationally limited for long sequences. We present , a high-throughput Langevin molecular dynamics framework leveraging JAX for GPU-accelerated simulations, achieving up to 30x speedup and superior scalability compared to the original C-based EPBD implementation.

We simulated 24,000 datasets across a range of scenarios with complex population dynamics and realistic landscape structure to evaluate the effects of the spatial distribution and number of samples on common landscape genomics methods. Our results show that common analyses are relatively robust to sampling scheme as long as sampling covers enough environmental and geographic space.

Overall survival (OS) from diagnosis, local recurrence-free survival (LRFS), and metastasis-free survival (MFS) from the end of the primary tumor treatment are estimated.
