Background: Sleep bruxism (SB) is an oral behavior characterized by high levels of repetitive jaw muscle activity during sleep, leading to teeth grinding and clenching, and may develop into a disorder. Despite its prevalence and negative outcomes on oral health and quality of life, there is currently no cure for SB. The etiology of SB remains poorly understood, but recent research suggests a potential role of negative emotions and maladaptive emotion regulation (ER).

Although previous research demonstrates that TMH is as effective as in-person therapy, there is a dearth of research on how therapists should address technology-perpetrated abuse and intimate partner violence (IPV) over TMH. This is extremely problematic given the frequency in which violence occurs in romantic relationships.

Methods And Results: Within a large integrated health care delivery system, we matched patients enrolled in a postdischarge telemonitoring intervention from 2015 to 2019 to patients not receiving telemonitoring at up to a 1:4 ratio on age, sex, and calipers of a propensity score. Primary outcomes were readmissions for worsening HF and all-cause death within 30, 90, and 365 days of the index discharge; secondary outcomes were all-cause readmissions and any outpatient diuretic dose adjustments.
Several naturally occurring molecules exhibit unique potential in treating certain elements of psychiatric illnesses and are being actively pursued in therapeutic development. Among these are molecules termed entheogens, a preferred name for plant-derived compounds that alter human consciousness for religious or spiritual purposes, which are especially important to various Indigenous groups, and their use within these cultures precedes that of the contemporary medicalized use. Here, we acknowledge that some entheogens were included in the DARK Classics issues of and that the label of "DARK" may perpetuate harmful and misguided labels and stigmas.

While Autism Spectrum Disorder as a label invites the idea of the heterogeneity of autism, within research we often adopt reductionist frameworks which are antithetical to heterogeneous presentations of autism. The neurodiversity movement provides insight into the vastness of the autistic experience and therefore might inform how we should restructure our research questions. Inviting sociocultural concepts of neurodiversity into the lab might better structure research to benefit the autistic community.
