Hydroxyapatite, being the major mineral component of tooth enamel and natural bones, is a good candidate for bone tissue engineering applications. One of the promising approaches for manufacturing of three-dimensional objects is selective laser sintering/melting which enables the creation of a dense structure directly during 3D printing by adding material layer-by-layer. The effect of laser irradiation with a wavelength of 10.

Aim: To study genetic characteristics of the population of the Moscow region and analyze the association of rs1801133 and rs1801131 of MTHFR with the risk of ischemic stroke (IS).

Material And Methods: A sample of 170 and 115 patients with atherothrombotic and cardioembolic subtypes of IS and 360 residents of the Moscow region without IS were examined. MTHFR alleles were determined by a multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction.

Since 1999, human cases of West Nile fever/neuroinvasive disease (WND) have been reported annually in Russia. The highest incidence has been recorded in three provinces of southern European Russia (Volgograd, Astrakhan and Rostov Provinces), yet in 2010-2012 the distribution of human cases expanded northwards considerably. From year to year, the number of WND cases varied widely, with major WND outbreaks in 1999, 2007, 2010, and 2012.

Magnetization M(T, B) of powder and glassy samples containing carbon nanoparticles, not intentionally doped and doped with Ag, Au and Co, is investigated at temperatures T between - 3-300 K in magnetic fields B up to 5T. According to atomic force microscopy data, a system of carbon particles has a broad size distribution, given by the average and the maximum radii of -60 nm and - 110 nm, respectively. In low fields of B << B(K), where B(K) - 1T is the mean anisotropy field, M(T) exhibits large irreversibility or deviation of zero-field cooled and field-cooled magnetizations, which is suppressed completely at B > B(K).

Aim: To study association between the level of antibodies to oxidized low-density lipoproteins (anti-OLDL) and the extent of coronary stenosis (CS) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).

Material And Methods: Sixty CHD patients were examined for titer of anti-OLDL, levels of total cholesterol (TC), LDLP cholesterol, HDLP cholesterol, triglycerides. Selective coronarography (SC) was made on demand.
