[The autoselection of neustonic forms of bacteria].

Self-breeding of neuston forms of Methylobacterium sp., Pseudomonas putida BC-2, Alcaligenes paradoxus BC-1, Bacillus thuringiensis var. israilensis bacteria as well as of a mixed culture of methylotrophs is shown possible.

[Exo- and endotrophic cells in a population of Bacillus megaterium].

It is shown that the Bacillus megaterium population has two types of qualitatively differing cells: exo- and endotrophic ones, i.e. the cells which assimilate in a given moment of time the source of carbon and energy from the medium or only intracellular sources of carbon and energy.
