[Possibilities provided by chronopuncture in treatment of arterial hypertension in the young].

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-hypertensive therapy with application of chronopuncture as a non-drug method of arterial pressure correction in patients with essential hypertension (EH). An offered and introduced utility model was applied. Its application leads to achievement of maximal anti-hypertensive effect of reflexotherapy, which shortens the treatment and increases the effectiveness of acupuncture in treatment of EH.

[Melanin-producing and NO-synthase gastric cells and the processes of cell regeneration in gastric and duodenal ulcers].

The subjects of the study were 50 patients with gastric ulcer, 110 patients with duodenal ulcer, 70 patients with chronic Helicobacter-associated gastritis, and 60 practically healthy individuals. Diagnosis was based upon the results of clinical, instrumental, and morphological examination. The results of the study show thatfunctional activity of gastric epitheliocytes and apudocytes, manifesting in decrease or increase of certain hormone activity, correlates with the process of apoptosis, which leads either to activation of ulcerogenesis, or to healing of a peptic ulcer.

[Content of calretinin-immunoreactive epitheliocytes of the stomach in patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer].

The article covers the information about 50 patients with gastric ulcer (GU) and 110 patients with duodenal ulcer (DU). 60 healthy persons and 70 patients with chronic helicobacter gastritis (CHG) formed comparative groups. Calretinin-immunoreactive epitheliocytes in antral region's gastric mucous membrane were reaved by clinical-endoscopic morphological and immunohistochemical investigations.
