High shear wet granulation (HSWG) is widely used in tablet manufacturing mainly because of its advantages in improving flowability, powder handling, process run time, size distribution, and preventing segregation. In-line process analytical technology measurements are essential in capturing detailed particle dynamics and presenting real-time data to uncover the complexity of the HSWG process and ultimately for process control. This study is to find relationships between Lenterra in-line measurements and granule properties and tablet properties.

Quasi-periodic eruptions (QPEs) are luminous bursts of soft X-rays from the nuclei of galaxies, repeating on timescales of hours to weeks. The mechanism behind these rare systems is uncertain, but most theories involve accretion disks around supermassive black holes (SMBHs) undergoing instabilities or interacting with a stellar object in a close orbit. It has been suggested that this disk could be created when the SMBH disrupts a passing star, implying that many QPEs should be preceded by observable tidal disruption events (TDEs).

Introduction: The aim of this study was to establish the patient-specific cost and time savings associated with telemedicine with the secondary environmental benefits of virtual visits within a tertiary referral center subspecialty urology clinic.

Methods: An electronic health record query was made of all urology telehealth visits that have occurred between April 10, 2020, and October 10, 2020, at a single academic center. We evaluated the cost of travel for an in-person visit based on zip code data.

Binary AsSe alloys from the border of a glass-forming region (65 < < 70) subjected to nanomilling in dry and dry-wet modes are characterized by the XRPD, micro-Raman scattering (micro-RS) and revised positron annihilation lifetime (PAL) methods complemented by a disproportionality analysis using the quantum-chemical cluster modeling approach. These alloys are examined with respect to tetra-arsenic biselenide AsSe stoichiometry, realized in glassy g-AsSe, glassy-crystalline g/c-AsSe and glassy-crystalline g/c-AsSe. From the XRPD results, the number of rhombohedral As and cubic arsenolite AsO phases in As-Se alloys increases after nanomilling, especially in the wet mode realized in a PVP water solution.

Three incidents that impacted two US newborn screening (NBS) programs highlight the importance of contingency planning for the continuity of operations (COOP). Other NBS programs may benefit from the experience of these state programs for their own contingency planning efforts. Through after-action reviews conducted post-incident, crucial elements for the successful management of an incident were identified.
