[Microflora of the cervical canal and the uterine cavity in chronic nonspecific inflammatory diseases of the uterus and the adnexa uteri].

The authors analyze the data pointing to the heterogeneity of the bacteriologic status of the cervical canal and uterine cavity in the women suffering from nonspecific chronic inflammations of the internal genitals. Identification of the bacteriologic contents of the uterine cavity will permit individual antibiotic therapy of the patients.

[Characteristics of mechanical effects of obstetric perineal speculum on the perineal tissues in labor].

The paper is concerned with a mathematical analysis of the use of the compact and latticed obstetrical perineal speculum at delivery. Preference is given to a novel latticed speculum that reduces two-fold the number of perineal ruptures in the primipara.
