A 54-year-old man presented with worsening bilateral rashes on legs and arms 7 days after receiving his BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 (Pfizer) vaccine booster. He developed burning on his palms about 5 days after receiving the booster. On day 6, he observed significant edema on his fingers and palms in addition to thin erythematous papules on his forearms.

The article deals with 5-year (1986-1992) experience in the diagnosis and treatment of duodenal atresia in 26 infants. Timely diagnosis of this developmental anomaly, the variants of operative treatment, and the principles of postoperative management are discussed. The necessity of antenatal ultrasonic examination and the high diagnostic value of radiological and endoscopic methods of diagnosis are emphasized.

[Uremic polyneuropathies].

The report is concerned with the results of a study of polyneuropathy in 75 patients with acute and chronic renal insufficiency. The authors described the clinical characteristics of the different forms of neuropathy. In acute renal insufficiency the first signs of polyneuropathy appear during the stage of polyuria and are reversible.
