Aim: To evaluate long-term results and the causes of complications in congenital obstructive pathology of the aortic arch.
Material And Methods: Retrospective study enrolled 62 patients aged 55 ± 14 days who underwent aortic arch surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass. It was compared two methods of aortic archplasty: use of xenopericardial material in group 1 and Rajasinghe's autoplastic method in group 2.
In order to obtain new fundamental knowledge, patterns of manifestation of synergy have been studied after simultaneous combined action of hyperthermia (47.5-60 degrees C) with anti-tumor agents (cyclophosphamide, cisplatin) on the survival of yeast cells. To calculate the efficiency of the synergistic interaction, the dependence of cell survival on the duration of exposure at separate and simultaneous action of chemical agents and hyperthermia was used.

Simultaneous complex laser exposure of pars plana and ciliary processes results in summation of morphological changes that provide decrease of aqueous humor secretion, uveal drainage and extension of suprachoroid space. A base for new noninvasive technology of nondestructive laser exposure in glaucoma treatment is established.
