Clinical and laboratory study, aimed at development of an objective criterion that would permit assessment of the quality of plate dentures early after orthodontic treatment, was carried out in 66 subjects aged 45 to 74 years. The examinations carried out before and after orthodontic treatment revealed a relationship between histamine concentrations in the background salivary pool and the presence of inflammation signs in denture bed tissues in the first days after plate denture application. The detected relationship may be regarded as an additional objective criterion permitting assessment of the denture quality in early periods after orthodontic treatment.

The differences are established in the manifestations and course of litigious-paranoid disorders of psychogenic personality-related origin and nonpathological querulousness. Pathologic litigiousness is characterized by a larger constitution-personality predisposition, lesser situational dependence and possibility of psychopathologic classification of querulous manifestations. An excessive intensity and length of querulousness, as related to the objective value of the psychogenesis, the more pronounced trend to litigiousness manifestations, progressive loss of their relation to situational cues, aggressive traits in behavior, are all characteristic of litigious-paranoid disorders.

In some old patients with a psychogenic quarrelsome paranoiac symptom complex the latter develops by the mechanism of psychic induction. Pathological quarrelling shows a number of clinical dynamic peculiarities in patients in whom it has been induced as against those who have initiated it.
